Kim Delaney is an American actor who is most well-known for playing the role of Detective Diane Russell in ABCs series NYPD Blue for which she received an Emmy Award. Her appearances include All My Children Philly CSI: Miami & Army Wives. Delaney has a father who was an executive at the United Auto Workers who was also the mother of her children. Delaney has four older brothers. As a young girl, Delaney wanted to be a court-reporter. But in highschool, when she started modeling for commercials, and later after moving to New York. Delaney was portrayed as a young innocent in 1981's soap-opera All My Children. Delaney is well-known as an actress, appearing in many films, TV movies, and dramas. As with her professional career but her personal life hasn't been happy or successful. This actress who's gifted and stunning, has had to battle addiction to alcohol before. She has also had marriages that failed twice. In 2005 her custody was taken away from her.
